Redefines facial contours by lifting sagging tissues for a smoother, firmer, and more rejuvenated appearance.

  • A Face Lift, also known as rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure designed to rejuvenate the lower and mid-face by repositioning deeper tissues, tightening underlying muscles, and removing excess skin. The result is a smoother, firmer, and more youthful facial contour.

A Mini-Face Lift follows the same principles but is less extensive, offering a more subtle improvement with shorter recovery time. It targets early signs of aging, particularly around the jawline and lower cheeks.

  • A Face Lift is recommended for individuals with significant facial sagging, deep lines, loss of jawline definition, or pronounced skin laxity.

A Mini-Face Lift is suitable for those with milder concerns, such as early jowling or mild skin laxity, who want natural rejuvenation without a more invasive procedure.

Both procedures are ideal for individuals seeking long-lasting improvement in facial firmness and contour.

  • There is no specific ideal age for a Face Lift or Mini-Face Lift. The most important factor is overall health and the presence of visible signs of aging. The procedure is commonly performed on individuals in their 40s, 50s, or older.

  • During the surgery, the underlying facial tissues (SMAS layer) are lifted and repositioned, and excess skin is removed. Incisions are typically made around the ear and may extend into the hairline, depending on the degree of correction required.

For a Mini-Face Lift, incisions are shorter, and the adjustment is more focused, making the procedure less extensive.

These incisions form scars that are generally discreet and tend to blend naturally along the hairline and ear contours.

  • A Face Lift is usually performed under general anesthesia. A Mini-Face Lift can be performed under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia, depending on the case and patient preference.

  • The duration varies according to the extent of correction.
A full Face Lift typically takes between 2 and 3 hours, while a Mini-Face Lift usually lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours.

  • Most patients return home on the same day. However, some cases may require an overnight stay for observation, depending on the extent of the procedure and individual medical needs.

  • The procedure is carried out in hospitals in Greater London that are fully equipped and adhere to rigorous standards of safety, sterilization, and surgical care.

  • Recovery varies, but most patients resume light daily activities within 10 to 14 days. Swelling, tightness, and bruising are common in the initial stages and gradually improve over the following weeks.

A Mini-Face Lift generally offers a quicker recovery, with many patients returning to routine activities sooner.

  • Post-operative care includes using cold compresses, keeping the head elevated, avoiding heavy physical activity, and following the recommended medication and wound-care routine. Attending all follow-up appointments is essential for proper monitoring and recovery.

  • The first step is to schedule a consultation. During this appointment, I will assess your facial structure, skin quality, and aesthetic goals to determine whether a Face Lift or Mini-Face Lift is the most suitable option. I will also explain the expected results and provide all relevant details about the procedure.

  • According to UK Medical Council recommendations, healthy patients without significant medical conditions may not require pre-operative tests for these procedures. Additional exams may be requested if needed based on individual health factors.

  • Costs can vary depending on the complexity of the procedure, the degree of correction required, anesthesia type, and the surgical environment. Typically, the total cost includes hospital fees, anesthetist’s fees, surgeon’s fees, and nursing care.

On average, prices range from £6,000 to £12,000. A Mini-Face Lift usually falls on the lower end of this range. During your consultation, I will provide a personalised quote based on your specific needs.

If you are considering this procedure and would like personalised guidance, a tailored treatment plan, and an accurate quote, I am available to schedule a consultation. Each patient is unique, and together we will evaluate your goals and expectations to ensure a safe and natural-looking Face Lift or Mini-Face Lift result. I will support you throughout the entire process.
